How should I choose between ODM and OEM cooperation?
Choose ODM, if you aim to: Shorten time-to-market, reduce R&D investment, and leverage our mature design platforms for rapid customization.
Choose OEM, if you: Already have a complete product definition and design, and need to find a trusted “manufacturing arm” with expertise in manufacturing processes, quality control, and supply chain management.
For return of purchases made directly at onixpickleball.com for your own private use as a consumer you may return the product within thirty (30) calendar days after the date of receipt of the delivery provided you correctly follow the instructions on the return form provided with your shipment.
Once we have received and validated your returned items, we will confirm it to you by mail. A refund will be processed by and issued to your original method of payment.
How deep can the customization go?
We offer tiered customization services:
Light Customization (Fast Time-to-Market): Logo, color, stickers, pre-installed software, configuration (memory/storage).
Mid-Level Customization (Differentiation): Custom A/D cover materials and finishes, keyboard backlight color and layout, addition/removal of ports, battery capacity adjustment.
Deep Customization / Joint Development (Full Autonomy): Development of new molds, custom motherboard design, exclusive thermal solutions, development of specific features (e.g., ruggedization, waterproofing), deep BIOS/EC customization.
Do you have any existing design platforms for reference?
Yes. We possess multiple mature “public mold” design platforms that cover various sizes, performance levels, and price segments. Clients can use these as a foundation to quickly launch projects, significantly saving both time and cost.
Quality, Production & Supply Chain
C1. How do you ensure product quality and consistency?
We implement a full-process quality gate system:
Incoming Quality Control (IQC): Sampling or full inspection of all key components.
In-Process Quality Control (IPQC): Real-time patrol inspections and testing on SMT and assembly lines.
Final Quality Control / Outgoing Quality Control (FQC/OQC): 100% functional testing, visual inspection, and burn-in testing of finished products.
Client Inspection Approval (CIA): Clients or designated third parties are welcome to conduct on-site pre-shipment inspections.
C2. What is the typical production lead time?
Standard lead times are as follows (calculated from receipt of deposit and all production materials):
Public Mold Products: 30-45 days.
Mid-Level Customization: 45-60 days.
Deep Customization / New Mold Development: 60-90 days or more (includes mold development time). We offer expedited channels to meet urgent market demands.

Cooperation Process & Commercial Support
D1. What is the typical cooperation process for a new project?
We follow a standard seven-step process to ensure clarity and transparency:
Initial Contact & NDA Signing: Clarify requirements and protect both parties’ commercial information.
Solution Design & Quotation: We provide a technical solution, specifications, and a detailed quotation.
Project Review & Contract Signing: Finalize the development/procurement agreement and commercial terms.
Engineering Verification Test (EVT): Verify design feasibility and produce functional prototypes.
Design Verification Test (DVT): Optimize the design and produce near-final prototypes for comprehensive testing.
Production Verification Test (PVT): Conduct a small pilot run to validate the production line and processes.
Mass Production (MP) & Ongoing Delivery: Commence full-scale production and enter the phase of continuous order fulfillment.
D2. What is your Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?
MOQ depends on product complexity and customization depth:
Standard Public Mold: MOQ can be as low as 500 units.
Mid-Level Customization: MOQ typically ranges from 1,000 to 2,000 units.
Deep Customization / New Mold Development: Requires a higher MOQ to amortize mold costs. This is subject to specific negotiation.
D3. What payment methods do you support?
We offer flexible international commercial terms, commonly including:
T/T (Telegraphic Transfer): A percentage deposit after order confirmation, with the balance paid before shipment.
L/C (Letter of Credit): We accept sight letters of credit.
D4. How is Intellectual Property (IP) managed?
Protecting our clients’ IP is our foremost principle:
Legal Agreement Safeguards: IP ownership is clearly defined through NDAs and contracts.
Physical & Information Isolation: Dedicated production lines and data isolation are implemented for client-specific projects.
